We have now relocated our business from our old Clopton site to a new facility in Colchester as part of a major £1.5 million investment programme. Though the distance between the two towns is only 18 miles, the move represents a major change to our operations.
Previously based on a remote rural airfield to the north of Ipswich Ransome Fleet Solutions (Carrier Transicold Eastern) saw an opportunity to dramatically develope our business when Carrier Transicold tabled a proposition that would see us expanding our operations area into North and East London.
The need to be closer to the new area has prompted our business to secure a new facility on a modern trading estate in Colchester, just off the A12 – a major route to the capital. With 15 new service vehicles, improved workshop facilities and the latest tooling and equipment, the facility in now perfectly positioned to service key parts of the capital, while also maintaining our commitiment to our loyal and growing customer base in Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex.
We are very proud of the changes we’ve made in 2016 and the feedback from our customers has been terrific – naturally, we have been taking every opportunity to showcase our new home. Our new facilities are truly first class and look forward to seeing the business grow from strength to strength.

Ransome Fleet Solutions are service partners for Transport Refrigeration, Bus and Coach Air Conditioning, Tail lift and Passenger lifts as well as Mobility and Motability products.
Not only do we cover Service and Breakdown’s for the East Anglia area and London, but also offer same and next day delivery for most areas nationwide via our delivery vans or a courier service. We are able to deliver parts direct to site or engineers at the time the customer requires. 9am, 10.30am or pre noon etc. This is trackable to keep you up to date on your delivery.
All customer needs catered for both large and small from a nut & bolt to a complete refrigeration unit or tail lift. Large items and orders catered for, and in addition to this we can offer an international parts service for many of the dealerships we maintain.

Bus & Coach
With passenger comfort a priority for many bus and coach companies, we are a multi-franchise main dealer offering service and parts for air conditioning and heating systems. We carry a large stock of parts to enable a first time fix for many applications, and again offer assistance in parts for other manufacturers such as Thermoking, Hispacold, Konvekta, Sunsundegui to name a few as well as supporting leading manufacturers such as Yutong, Caetano, Volvo, Mercedes etc.
Tail Lift & Passenger Lifts
Alongside our refrigeration and air conditioning business we offer shutter, tail lift, and passenger lift parts and service, as main dealers for Ratcliff, Dhollandia and Del. We have recently become the main UK dealer for the Hidral Gobel the bus and coach passenger lift manufacturer, supporting their product with parts, servicing and training.
We also offer a full service and parts solution for vehicle shutter doors, stocking parts for mobile doors, such as Whiting and many other well know brands, catering for all your vehicle requirements.
